Account Manager - Suppliers

Chicago, IL

Our Account Managers are passionate about helping their supplier clients succeed. They build relationships far and wide within organizations, and they ask the tough questions that uncover new opportunities for delivering value. Suppliers don’t just renew after a partnership term ends; they want to work even more closely together.

What will you do?

  • Collaborate with sales & marketing colleagues to manage onboarding process for new suppliers
  • Develop trust and learn about suppliers’ business needs from the outset
  • Create account plans and stakeholder maps, identifying challenges – and solutions – early-on
  • Be the day-to-day face of OpenMarkets to a dedicated portfolio of supplier clients, answering questions and providing coaching/feedback in real-time, as needed
  • Conduct formal business reviews each quarter, sharing meaningful, comparative data insights that will improve future performance
  • Closely monitor platform activity during intervening periods to identify at-risk clients
  • Ensure timely delivery of any dedicated marketing & data support
  • Collaborate closely with sales colleagues on renewal agreements
  • Maintain clean, crisp records with an ability to share weekly headlines with senior leadership

What skills should you have?

  • A Bachelor’s degree
  • 2-3 years of experience working in account management or customer service, preferably in healthcare or tech
  • Demonstrated success in building deep, meaningful relationships across a client’s organization – both vertically and horizontally
  • Strong strategy and problem-solving skills (e.g. identifying client needs, creating mutually-agreeable plans, managing relationships w/ diverse stakeholders, solving issues collaboratively)
  • Knowledge of or interest in learning about healthcare purchasing
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and often with colleagues internally for the benefit of the client
  • Experience using Salesforce, working with data in Excel, and creating killer decks

Digital Marketing Specialist

OpenMarkets is currently seeking a disciplined marketing professional to develop and execute digital marketing efforts for multiple clients. The primary function of the Digital Marketing Specialist is to drive online conversions through effective digital marketing campaigns; owning tactics including website development and optimization, email, landing pages, web capture forms, and digital advertising. This person will provide his or her strong analytical skills, business acumen, and innovative marketing ideas to develop and enhance digital marketing programs for clients by measuring, optimizing, testing, recommending, and implementing enhancements on all programs and campaigns.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Define, create, execute and manage targeted digital marketing campaigns focused on building brand awareness, driving credibility and generating leads
  • Manage the execution of email communications including promotional emails, nurture campaigns, newsletters and event triggered emails
  • Oversee maintenance, updates and optimization of websites and social media platforms
  • Develop content to tie digital marketing initiatives into overall integrated marketing plan and help maintain internal calendar of all programs
  • Leverage web analytics to track, measure, and provide value-added reporting on KPIs of digital marketing activities

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of digital marketing experience with at least 2 years of experience in digital marketing in a B2B environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Graphic Design, Web Design or similar field
  • Excellent understanding of digital marketing best practices related to web design, content management, SEM, SEO and marketing automation
  • Strong project management skills and ability to multi-task projects
  • Superb interpersonal, communications and presentation skills

What You’ll Work On:

  • Serve as a member of our data team to record and analyze data across our Amazon Web Services hosted databases
  • Perform analysis using both our product directory and quote history data to create market share reports for our supplier clients based on the categories they serve
  • Evaluate transaction data from our marketplace web app to prepare quarterly business reviews (QBRs) for our Supplier clients – including information on their products, opportunities, responsiveness, quotes, and purchase orders
  • Facilitate the curation of the OpenMarkets directory of 20,000+ products by reviewing, researching, and editing products added daily to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Process catalog submissions from new OpenMarkets Suppliers – normalizing their product information into our directory while ensuring the content meets the client’s expectations
  • Learn best practice guidelines and utilize Salesforce.com to track client interactions, add records and modify existing data
  • Assist in the onboarding of new enterprise budgeting software clients by provisioning users, setting up user permissions and creating/maintaining custom fields
