Hard Manufacturing, the leading manufacturer of hospital cribs and youth beds, is introducing exciting new features to its pediatric product lines.

After revamping their engineering department and consulting more closely with hospital customers, Hard Manufacturing is upgrading new cribs to include an electrical system powered by linear actuators instead of old-style motors. This new electrical system allows for quick CPR release and backup battery, as well as provides a more streamlined crib look that is lighter and quieter than previous models.

We are known in the industry for high quality, safety and reliability,” says Marjorie Bryen, President of Hard Manufacturing. “Now we are working on more initiatives to best serve the needs of the pediatric market. We asked ourselves how we can change what we’re doing to be more responsive to the market.

This responsiveness to customer needs has manifested itself in the crib upgrades for Hard’s premier product, the Critical Care Crib. Features of the new cribs include their proprietary pressure reduction FlexShield™ mattress, new youthful colors, and improvements to the electric crib operation. This updated product line is the result of the company’s continued product innovation, based on strong customer relationships.

“The Hard team is great to work with, responsive to questions, quotes and deliveries,” said a member of the Pediatric Care team at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, KS. “Great experience. I would appreciate it if you could teach your skills to other suppliers! Thank you!”

The innovation doesn’t stop here - Hard Manufacturing is also expecting to release a bassinet in the next several months. This bassinet will extend the trusted Hard Manufacturing products into the healthy newborn market, but will also provide hospitals with a studier and more usable well-baby solution than the competition.
