OpenMarkets is excited to once again join thousands of healthcare supply chain leaders at AHRMM16, the annual conference and expo for the Association for Healthcare Resource and Materials Management. The 2016 conference will be held July 31st to August 3rd in San Diego, and will include over 400 different health systems nationwide and 200 suppliers, including many key capital equipment manufacturers such as Olympus, Medtronic and Linet.

“Everything OpenMarkets does is focused on bringing providers and equipment suppliers together,” said OpenMarkets Co-founder and Senior Vice President Tom Derrick, “and AHRMM16 is the one of the best conferences in the healthcare supply chain at doing this. We’re excited to support and participate, and we look forward to meeting current and new partners and joining the educational sessions.”

During this year’s show, OpenMarkets is hosting a “Match Game” to keep with the theme of working together. Providers are encouraged to stop by a participating supplier booth and take a selfie with a new supplier friend, then post to social channels and tag #OpenMarkets. The payoff?  Participants will receive a free Starbucks gift card at OpenMarkets booth #711. For more information or to set up a meeting with one of our representatives, click here.

So, why the “Match Game?”

“OpenMarkets is a more efficient way for equipment suppliers and provider stakeholders to communicate and work together,” said Derrick. “This game embodies the mantra of ‘Better Together.’ If our fun game allows the Director of Capital Sourcing at Nebraska General Hospital to create a meaningful relationship with the Educational Director for Medtronic, then we’ve created a win-win. These types of interactions are created everyday through the OpenMarkets platform, and at AHRMM16, we’re just doing the same in a personal, fun way.”
