March 7, 2017 | Category: Latest News | Author: Monica Frager

CHRISTUS Health does something unique from nearly every other large IDN: they publish their capital budget to suppliers.  On Wednesday, March 22, at 12 p.m. EST/9 a.m. PST, Sean Poellnitz, Director of Contracting & Resource Utilization at CHRISTUS Health, will present, “Why CHRISTUS Preaches Transparency in their Capital Program”.

The one-hour session will cover the logistics of CHRISTUS' unconventional approach to capital, which includes a series of Capital Town Hall meetings.  These meetings, hosted by Poellnitz, lead an audience of suppliers through details on the capital strategy, budget, and decision making process.

Poellnitz will also break down the reasons CHRISTUS utilizes this transparent approach to capital, and the benefits for both the organization and their supplier partners.
