Schedule 10 minutes with our team to learn how you can join OpenMarkets.

On Oct. 19 at 3 p.m. EST/12 p.m. PST, OpenMarkets will host a web broadcast focused on the challenges of creating a more efficient capital procurement process.  The one-hour session, titled “Leading Practice in the Healthcare Supply Chain: Perspectives from Deloitte,” will be hosted by Kurt Banas, Senior Manager at Deloitte.

Banas, who will be joined by OpenMarkets co-founder and Senior VP Tom Derrick, will present a session that focuses on inefficiencies and solutions encountered when working with leading provider organizations.  The conversation will pay particular attention to the oft-overlooked capital equipment market, and will outline the leading practices on internal organizational design.  To register, click here.

As part of OpenMarkets’ ongoing web-broadcast series, another broadcast is scheduled for Nov. 17, at 12 noon EST/9 a.m. PST, titled “Challenges of Selling to a Health System.” This session will be hosted by Kelly Rodriguez, Zone VP, Strategic Business Unit at Toshiba America Medical Systems. Rodriguez will discuss how a lack of transparency, access and understanding create inefficiency on the supplier side. She will highlight how working openly and proactively with suppliers can not only create better relationships, but show how this directly improves the bottom line for both health systems and their supplier partners.

Last month, OpenMarkets hosted its third educational session, “Successful Equipment Purchasing for a New Hospital,” led by Mike Schiller, CMRP, Senior Director of Supply Chain Management for the Association for Healthcare Resources and Materials Management (AHRMM), and Edward Hernandez, founding partner at Covalus.
