Sales Development Representative

Responsibilities

  • Develop new sales opportunities by identifying, researching, and soliciting new acc\ounts through cold calling and email outreach
  • Consistently hit sales goals
  • Cold calling – strategically. It’s not just about the quantity of calls you make, but the ability to tailor your messaging individually to each prospect using a mix of business acumen, research about the prospect
  • Close new accounts over the phone
  • Work effectively with members of our sales and marketing teams to maximize sales success and our product team to enhance the products of the future

Qualifications

  • You have a proven ability to grow and maintain a sales pipeline, using salesforce.com
  • You have experience making cold calls and enjoy selling over the phone
  • You have a competitive spirit and results-driven, can-do attitude
  • When faced with new challenges, or tough conversations, failure simply isn’t an option
  • Self-starting expertise, with the gift of being extremely effective while working independently
  • A balance of coachability and confidence
  • You’re an excellent listener, assertive, persistent, and persuasive
  • You have a desire to learn and develop sales skills within an ever-changing sales organization, and are always looking for ways to improve
  • You possess the innate ability to inspire passion in others
  • Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional time management skills and attention to detail
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related area
  • 2+ years of proven success in a B2B sales environment
